A recent story down in Orlando Florida concerns a motorcycle chop shop where they steal motorcycles and strip them of parts for resale. Selling the parts brings a tidy profit and takes away a good part of the risk in trying to sell stolen motorcycles.

Four people were arrested their connection to a chop shop located down in Orange County, Florida. Two of the men were arrested after barricading themselves inside a home but gave themselves up after they were told the Orange County SWAT team was on the way.

Investigators reported that the men were using a garage located in a self-storage facility to operate an auto theft ring and chop shop. At the self-storage facility the investigators discovered stolen car and motorcycle parts. They also were able to recover stolen ATVs, a pickup truck, a 9mm gun, along with car and motorcycle parts. Undercover officers actually witnessed two of the men motorcycle that belonged to an Orlando man.

The two men arrested at the home had actually left the house and began driving toward Orlando International Airport knowing full well that Orange County Sheriff helicopter would have a hard time tracking them there as it is difficult to get permission to enter the O.I.A. airspace.
